Services4Estates was approached to carry out a comprehensive renovation project for a private residence in Kensington. The project included a full kitchen redesign and installation alongside a bathroom remodelling, each requiring careful planning, skilled workmanship, and seamless execution. The aim was to transform outdated, underutilised spaces into modern, functional, and visually stunning areas.
We visited the customer house for an initial consultation, we took note of their specific needs for their new kitchen and uniquely shaped bathroom. Our team carried out a detailed site assessment, including precise measurements and an evaluation of the existing plumbing and structural conditions. Using this information, we created a comprehensive remodeling plan for both spaces, incorporating the selection of high-quality materials and fixtures to ensure a functional and stylish transformation.
What We Did
Kitchen Redesign and Installation
The kitchen redesign started with a thorough consultation to understand the client’s vision, preferences (specific requirements of what not to have), and functional requirements. We carried out an extensive assessment, carefully measuring the space and evaluating the existing plumbing, electrical setup, and structural layout. With the client’s goals in mind, we developed a comprehensive plan to transform the kitchen into a modern, highly functional space. The project included the installation of new cabinets, countertops, and fixtures, chosen for their durability and style, to create a sleek and cohesive look. Plumbing upgrades were carried out to accommodate appliances, while electrical work included installing new sockets, switches, and modern lighting fixtures to enhance the space’s usability and ambiance. The walls and floors were re-tiled with contemporary designs to add both style and durability, and a fresh coat of paint was applied to tie the entire design together. The result was a fully optimised, modern kitchen that seamlessly blended aesthetics and functionality, meeting the client’s expectations and lifestyle needs.
Bathroom Remodeling
The bathroom renovation posed unique challenges due to its unusual shape and placement of the door. Our team took it as a challenge to make it functional, useful and creative. We assessed the existing plumbing and structural conditions and offered a complete remodelling to expand the usable space and usability. Outdated fixtures, including the tub was replaced with modern, efficient cubicle, significantly improving both functionality and appearance. The walls and floors were re-tiled with fresh, contemporary designs to create a clean and stylish finish. We upgraded the electrical system, installing new light sockets and enhanced lighting to brighten the space and improve practicality. Carpentry work included boxing in the waste pipes for a tidy and polished look, as well as adjusting the door to ensure a seamless fit. To assist the access, we installed a new door elevating the the bathroom’s style with ease of use. The works finished by adding a fresh coat of paint. The result was a beautifully modernised bathroom that balanced style, functionality, and personality, exceeding the client’s expectations.
